Aldo Verbruggen: 'Need for rapid follow-up of Review Committee on High Transactions by judicial review necessary'

In the national newspaper ‘De Financiële Telegraaf’ of January 25th, 2021, Aldo Verbruggen comments on the statements made by Marcel van Oosten, former judge and member of the recently established Review Committee on High Transactions, in a press interview. Aldo Verbruggen is critical towards Van Oosten’s statements and stresses that these illustrate the need for judicial review of high transactions, instead of review by a committee that was established by the Board of Attorneys General, which is part of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
